Apple released iOS 27 on September 14, 2026 with Siri AI, a conversational assistant built on Apple Foundation Models developed with Google's Gemini. It answers from three places: the user's personal context, actions inside apps, and world knowledge drawn from across the web. Each is a different way for a brand to appear, and each needs different work. This guide covers the steps in order of effort. For the launch facts, see Siri AI and iOS 27 brand visibility.
Step 1: Know Who Can Hear You
Siri AI needs an iPhone 15 Pro or later and launched as an English beta that users join through a waitlist in Settings. French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish were announced for the following month. It was not available in the EU or China at launch. If most of your customers are in the EU, Siri AI is a later priority. If they are US iPhone owners, it is a now priority.
Step 2: Claim and Complete Apple Business Connect
Apple Business Connect controls how your business shows up in Apple Maps, Wallet, Mail, and Siri. Local and place questions ("a good bike shop near me", "is the pharmacy open") are the most common voice queries, and Apple's own place data is the most likely first source for them. Verify each location, and fill in hours, categories, photos, and action links. Wrong opening hours are the fastest way to lose a spoken recommendation, because Siri reads out one answer, not ten.
Step 3: Expose App Actions with App Intents
Siri AI can take actions inside apps that support App Intents. Launch examples included WhatsApp, Outlook, Audible, and Tripsy. If you have an iOS app, expose your core actions (reorder, book, check status, add to list) as App Intents with clear names. A brand Siri can act through gets used. A brand Siri can only mention has to hope the user follows up.
Step 4: Strengthen Your Gemini and Web Presence
Apple has not said which search provider or sources feed Siri AI's world-knowledge answers. What is public is that the models were built with Gemini. Keep your facts consistent across your own site, Wikipedia or Wikidata where you qualify, major review sites, and structured data, because those are the sources any web-grounded assistant draws on. If you already track Gemini visibility, use it as a starting estimate for Siri AI, then test.
Step 5: Write Answers That Can Be Spoken
Spoken answers are short. Put the direct answer to common questions (price range, what the product does, who it is for, where it is available) in the first sentence of the relevant page, in plain language, without depending on a table or image. Pages that only make sense visually give a voice assistant nothing it can read out.
Step 6: Test Siri AI Directly
Build a list of 20 to 50 prompts your customers would actually say out loud, including category questions ("what's the best..."), comparisons, and local questions. Run them on an eligible iPhone with Siri AI enabled and record whether your brand is named, what is said about it, and whether a competitor is named instead. Repeat monthly, because answers change as Apple updates the models.
Step 7: Track Siri AI Alongside Other Platforms
Presenc AI tracks brand mentions on Apple Intelligence and Gemini side by side, so you can see whether Siri AI's answers follow your Gemini visibility or split from it, and catch changes after model updates.
